About APS Financial Limited
APS Financial Limited (AFL) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. As an Electronic Money Licence holder it issues prepaid cards and provides e-money solutions.
AFL is a wholly owned subsidiary of APS and has secured Principal Member status with MasterCard International Incorporated for the issuance of MasterCard® , Maestro® and Cirrus® prepaid cards in the UK and across Europe.
Business partners and customers benefit from the integrated AFL and APS management team, with products serviced by the APS team of specialists. AFL will aim to deliver programmes to market quickly and explore new market sectors.
The Directors
Rich Wagner, Chief Executive Officer
Rich is founder and Chief Executive of AFL, as well as APS. Rich has over 20 years of card experience, including specific experience in launching and managing high-growth payment card businesses in the UK and US. Prior to APS he was an Executive Director in the creation and sale of a major UK card portfolio within just three years of operation.
Robin Dear, Finance Director
Robin Dear has over 26 years experience of managing finance functions, of which the last 12 years have been at senior director level in business and consumer organisations. His career includes Director positions with Citibank, Diners Club and Universal. He also has extensive experience in the SME sector, including a company turnaround for an equity backed management buyout.
He is the Finance Director of both AFL and APS.
Paul Schooley, Pricing and Risk Director
Paul has over 15 years of experience in the US and UK of holding senior roles in credit, risk and pricing optimisation for unsecured payment products. Through data mining and segmentation, Paul has facilitated significant revenue growth for companies such as NatWest, Providian and GE Capital.
Polly Williams, AFL Non-Executive Director
Polly became a non-executive director of a number of financial sector businesses in 2003 when she left her role as an Audit Partner at KPMG. Whilst at KPMG she worked with clients in all aspects of financial services, including clients such as HSBC Holdings plc.
