The Titanium Cashplus prepaid MasterCard® was launched in June 2006 and is distributed through The Money Shop, the United Kingdom's leading cheque cashing company. The Titanium Cashplus card is available exclusively from The Money Shop's 300 branches throughout the UK and their website. APS also provides both the Titanium Euro and Titanium Dollar Holiday Cash Cards for the Money Shop, which allow customers to load currency on to their card and then spend it commission-free whilst they’re abroad.
An easy cross sell
Supermarkets selling financial products and car dealers selling loans are par for the course.
But what happens when you offer a loyal customer from your core business a personal finance product only to have to decline them after a credit check? You risk losing their business altogether.
Because buying a prepaid card is not reliant on information you may not hold on your customer, such as credit status, you can offer them a prepaid card safe in the knowledge that they’ll be accepted.
You can tailor your offering with additional benefits to make it more relevant to your existing relationship with the customer. Discount networks, transaction rewards, point schemes and in store benefits can all be blended into your payment card proposition.
We offer a full solution for cross selling. We’ve recently worked with one of the UK's leading online and home shopping retailers to create a solution for offering the Cashplus prepaid Gold MasterCard® to potential customers that haven’t passed their credit check. This enhances the online retailer's proposition as they can offer customers the ability to purchase goods, even though the retailer can’t offer them credit. We can also tie this in with a voucher offer to use our card with retailers to encourage an on-going relationship between the customer, the retailer and Cashplus.
Capitalising on market intelligence
With a general purpose chip and PIN card we can capture information about all of the purchases your cardholders are making, which when we’re contractually allowed, we can share with you.
You'll be able to identify new business opportunities and quantify potential revenue opportunities from cardholders' spending patterns outside of your business. You'll be in the unique position of being able to market special offers directly to customers on your own branded prepaid card website that they’ll use to access their account information.
Chip technology cards can be used to store electronic receipts for everything the cardholder buys and to record points from reward schemes. You can add new options for seasonal campaigns or new product launches, without the need to re-issue the card.
Driving your costs down
