It’s an easy sell

The chances are that your customers want to pay less for their shopping, they worry about losing cash and they’d probably like to have a personalised MasterCard. Well you can sell them a card in your store that offers access to great value internet shopping and a safe way to carry cash.

It’s simple to sell in your retail outlet:

  • Take the card fee
  • Customer reads Terms & Conditions
  • You complete then print off the application form for the customer to sign and print off the receipt for the customer to keep
  • Hand them a starter pack that includes a temporary Cirrus® ATM card, that’s automatically activated when you process the sale. This can be used to withdraw cash from ATMs that accept Cirrus cards
  • Invite them to top up the card’s account for free (we already have a network of nearly 1,000 retailers) – their money will be available to spend in minutes

They should then receive their personalised Chip and PIN prepaid MasterCard through the post 3-5 days later. The customer activates the card by calling the number on the reverse of the card and can then use it wherever MasterCard is accepted. That’s over 1.5 million cash machines and over 30 million locations worldwide.
